‘Starstruck’ by Jenny McLachlan

14th December 2017UncategorisedBy admin

I thought this was a great book about a girl called Pearl who is the “bad girl” of her group,  however when a new girl comes to school she steals Pearl’s role in the school play. She also turns her friends against her, or so she thought. This gripping novel follows Pearl’s attempts to get revenge but it doesn’t seem to work- it just makes her friends dislike her more.
Overall I thought this was a really good book and i would definetly read it again and will be soon. I rate this book about an 8 out of 10. I would recommend this book to teenage girls.
