‘Fat Boy Swim’ by Catherine Ford

14th December 2017UncategorisedBy admin

Fat Boy Swim is an amazing book by Catherine Forde. It is perfectly worded and full of humour, and  is about an obese teenager who is being bullied and struggling to get through his days and nights for that matter. He can’t stop eating and cant get this weird dream out of his head. He works with his P.E. teacher to lose weight and conquer his fears of swimming and learns to swim. He even meets a girl ……
I think this book really is fantastic it really shows the struggles of the average obese  teenager  these days and helps us understand their circumstances. I think lots of people could relate to this character.
I would give this book a 9/10
