‘Divergent’ by Veronica Roth

14th December 2017UncategorisedBy admin

“Faction before Blood”
Divergent is the first book of a thrilling series by Veronica Roth. In a world where everyone seems to know who they are and where they belong, one girl is on a journey to figure out who she is. An organized community was split into five sections many years ago, as an attempt to keep peace. Each section is called a faction, once you pick your faction, there’s no going back.
Beatrice Prior came from a selfless, caring family, who will do anything to keep her safe. She is fierce and will stand her ground. Beatrice will do what she believes is right, no matter how brutal the consequences could be.
Divergent is about a young girl making a very important decision that will change her life. She hides a deadly secret from everyone she knows, apart from a boy who is carrying the same secret. Together, they help and protect each other from any dangers that come their way.
This action-packed book is so easy to pick up and read. You feel like you are in a world that is so different from our own and you can escape from reality.  I enjoyed this book a lot because you can relate to the characters.
