Headteacher’s Welcome

I am delighted to take this opportunity to welcome everyone back for
the new session in Trinity High School. In particular I would like to
extend a very warm welcome to all our new parents who have taken
the decision to send their children to our school. Be assured that
everything possible will be done to ensure your child and all children
not only enjoy the school and achieve as much as possible in their
time at Trinity High but also are safe, well and happy. Please check
our website for regular updates on school activities on

Our School prides itself on the strong commitment to partnership with
parents and local parishes to ensure that the potential of all our
youngsters is realised in full. This helps to create a purposeful sense
of community in which mutual support and encouragement are an
identified strength. This has been recognised by Her Majesty’s Inspectorate
(HMIe) in inspection of the School who stated in their Report
published in May 2011 that “Staff engage well with parents and
continually look for opportunities to involve them in their children’s
learning, reconfirmed by the renewal of the School’s Charter Mark
from the Cabinet Office each year from 2005 – 2009 (when the Programme
ended in this form) and highlighted in regular surveys of pupils,
parent and staff opinion. This mutual support is something which
we all, pupils/students, parents and staff, must work to maintain and
even if possible enhance. Indeed HMIe identified this as a “particular
strength of the School”. This is a challenge which we are happy to
accept if it assists our young people in reaching their undoubted potential
and I look forward with confidence to a successful session for
all concerned with the community of Trinity High School.
