Good luck to all of our young people receiving their SQA exam results - hopefully you are rewarded for the efforts you put in throughout last year and gain the results which reflect these.
Our Headteacher, Mr Jack Nellaney, bowed out of Trinity High School today after over twenty years as leader of the school. It was a day of mixed emotions, with much sadness that we were losing such a fantastic Headteacher, but joy at all that he has given over the years to the school community. In short, Mr Nellaney was Trinity High School and the school was such a large part of his life too.
Friends, ex-pupils and colleagues came to the school to wish him farewell and the whole school gathered before the final bell to applaud his achievement.
As always, the Headteacher deferred to those young people who stood before him, insisting that they were the present and future of Trinity High School, but it was hard not to feel a sense of loss at his retirement.
Mrs Renfrew will now take over as Acting Headteacher with Mr Monaghan appointed as Acting DHT.
With the legacy Mr Nellaney leaves behind, they (and the rest of the school community) have a hard act to follow, but also an enviable foundation to build upon.
