Easter break – what’s on for kids in Renfrewshire

There’s plenty for kids to do in Renfrewshire during the Easter school holidays.

There’s a host of information about our Youth and Sports Service spring break activities taking place in your area and full details of Renfrewshire Leisure’s Activity Camps on the Active Renfrewshire website.

There’s an Easter sports camp for young people aged 8 – 18 with additional support needs on from Wednesday 11 April until Friday 13 April (from 10am until 3pm) at St Bennedict’s High School.  Please call 01505 325417 or 0777 401 6347 to reserve a place.

A fun Easter Rockschool will run from Monday 9 April until Friday 13 April where local school pupils can benefit from band coaching and song writing workshops.

Paisley Museum has plenty on offer from treasure hunts to magic and mystery. Lots of drop in activities in wee one and two of the holidays and the a creative camp Tue – Fri for those budding Harry Potters and Hermiones. Drop ins are free but remember to call up and book a place on 0141 887 1010 (cost £37.50 or £26.25 conc).

The RSPB at Lochwinnoch has an Easter programme that includes a photography day, Easter Egg-stravaganza, treasure hunt, and wildlife challenge. Check the RSPB’s website for full details.

If you want to enjoy the outdoors, you can visit one of the many play and sports areas, or enjoy Castle Semple Visitor Centre at Lochwinnoch.
