As we prepare for that special time of Christmas and all that it properly means for us in Trinity High School it is important that we do not just dwell on recent events but also reflect on the work of the school since the last Newsletter in September. Clearly much has happened over the last few months.
There is indeed a great deal to be positive and confident about with regard to our young people both in terms of their learning and wider contributions. However it is extremely important that we as teachers and parents continue to cooperate and work in partnership to support and encourage all our young people in the challenges that they will undoubtedly face in the future both in school and outwith the school so that each and every one of them is able to achieve their undoubted potential. In this regard the attendance at recent Parent – Teacher Meetings for S2, s4 and S5/6 was most encouraging.
Please feel free to contact me at the school should you wish to discuss any matter which appears in the December Newsletter or indeed any matter relating to your child in Trinity High School.
In the meantime as we take this opportunity during Advent to reflect on the true message of Christmas, I would like on behalf of all staff in the school to wish all parents, pupils and students a Happy and Holy Christmas with every best wish for a prosperous and successful New Year.
Finally please remember school opens on Thurday 5 January 2012 for all pupils, students and staff.
